I dunno... I went through the new forums and all, but there's just no feeling of home... its empty and its just not as pleasant to use... look at this from the new forums for instance:

You cannot post new topics in this forum
You cannot reply to topics in this forum
You cannot edit your posts in this forum
You cannot delete your posts in this forum
You cannot post attachments in this forum

I even registered, and I can't post anything. These forums are just so much more... simple... with everything _right here_.
I also noticed that it looked a lot prettier before I registered...  

wooow... less than 5 mins and I've been rickrolled just by changing the color scheme to something even less attractive than what it gave me after I registered.

Give us time. The new forums offer us more control so that people who shouldn't be able to post don't - we need to sort out your permissions ourselves. More control means better security and is a good thing. As far as the changing colour schemes go, there was a period here where the colour scheme kept changing while we found one that we liked.

It's new, give it a chance.

Lol just registering doesnt work, I actually need to know wether you're officer or not to give you full access, a registered user doesnt have all access to some forums.. period.

I'm trying to be strict and anyone who doesnt actually post, doesnt get active until they at least make a post.. People can also request to get acces to a certain group.  Like Rose said, it's just extra security.

There are also options (as I found out from Frizz) to have a different colour scheme to other people. I'm working on a few themes, you can choose your own and never be rickrolled by a changing colour scheme again.

Hehe, seriously guys the only two reasons these forums are still up are:
a. so that alliance members and friends who are currently inactive can find the new forums and
b. my French isn't good enough to figure out how to delete the forums
