Posted 30/08/2007 01:02:29 AM | | This the modification of the build that was here as "Enchanted Survivor" following the buff to Way of the Empty Palm
This build relies heavily on enchantments and is consequently very poor against necromancers with Defile Enchantments (e.g. NPC necros at Grenz Frontier if you are using this in AB)and care needs to be taken around mesmers; however the massive health regeneration you get most of the time is enough to give trouble to most other classes and it can work fairly well as a tanking build (Zenmai works well with this build).
Skills
Way of the Empty Palm (Elite, Deadly Arts)
Sharpen Daggers (Critical Strikes)
Golden Phoenix Strike (Dagger Mastery)
Repeating Strike (Dagger Mastery)
Nine Tail Strike (Dagger Mastery)
Critical Defenses (Critical Strikes)OR Critical Agility (Sunspear)
Assassins Remedy (Critical Strikes)OR Resurrection Signet
Mystic Regeneration (Earth Prayers)
Attributes
At present, they stand as:
Critical Strikes 11 + 1 + 1
Dagger Mastery 10 + 1
Deadly Arts 6 + 1
Earth Prayers 8
Equipment
Zealous Daggers of Fortitude or Shelter (Kenshi's Butterfly Daggers are ideal).
Survivors Armour
Rune of Minor Critical Strikes
Keen Mask (+1 Stacking Critical Strikes)
Rune of Minor Dagger Mastery
Rune of Minor Deadly Arts (you may wish to replace this with a rune of Clarity, Purity or Vitae)
Rune of Major Vigor
Use
You must have at least one enchantment on you to begin your attacks as Golden Phoenix Strike fails if you are not under the effects of an enchantment.
Keeping up Way of the Empty Palm allows you to spam Repeating Strike like there is no tomorrow. The recent buff means that you can now have Way of the Empty Palm on permanently as it recharges before it ends.
Ensuring you are always under the effects of Mystic Regeneration means you always have health regen of 3 - 10 depending on how many of your enchantments you are using at the time. Additional regeneration that would come from the any additional enchantments (but caps at 10) will help to counteract any degeneration from hexes and conditions.
