Without doubts a dervish can't stand as a tank when compares to a warrior.
But, he will be able to withstand the warrior a very very long time with this build :

Avatar of Balthazar (attack +33%, armor+40, holy damage).
Conviction (armor +24 when enchanted or regen of 4 for up to 34s).
Aura of thorns (cripples every nearby foes for 10s and when it ends, they start bleeding for 15s).
Armor of sanctity (for 10s, you take 20 less damage from foe suffering from a condition)
Mystic regeneration (+4 regen per enchantment on you)
Three attack skills :
I'm using Victorious sweep for its low cost + low reload time  + damage bonus + healing effect.
I'm using Mystic sweep for its +9 per enchantment (+30 max)
I'm using pious assault for it low cost + damage bonus + reload time when used to desenchantment.

With attributes of :
Scythe mastery : 15 (12 + 1 + 2)
Earth prayer : 12 ( 9 + 3)
Mysticism : 8

You can use Veil of thorns in the place of Aura of thorns but it cost more for an effect more or less egual.

my current build has about the same atributes, but is more focussed on conditioning larger groups then keeping myself alive, works nicely if you have good monks backing you up.
