This was given to me by some dude in Umbral Grotto before we went to take on one of the Slaver's Exhile bosses. I monked Forgewight alone with it (we lost the other monk early on) without too many problems (though having a competent tank REALLY helped there) and after I gave this build to one of the monks yesterday, after hours of failed attempts we were able to magically do Duncan.

Use
Life Bond on any melee (there should really be no more than two, one tank is standard but this build can handle two easily).
Balthazar's Spirit on yourself.
Protective Spirit for squishy casters.
Zealous Bendiction for supporting the healing monk.
Seed of Life for seeing your screen fill up with + 26's when you put it on the tank.
Blessed Signet for energy regain.
Vital Blessing for emergencies (I run this with two superior runes, so I usually keep VB on myself).
Rebirth for the resurrecting of anyone silly enough to die.

Yeah that build - and the team build it's found in - works a treat.  Like you say you can monk it alone but it's a big help having an HB monk there who can also shove SoL on you, the bonder, to get those lovely 26's.

Balth Spirit is for the Tank as well and his ele spells, I like shoving VB on the Tank as well.

Only if the tank is an obsi-tank ;p it's not necessary for the tank to BE an obsi-tank.

True, the obsi tank method works very well though. The more comfy fights I've had through SE have usually had an obs tank
