Weapons:
1st slot: +15 Energy Staff is essential
2nd slot: long-ranged Bow
3rd slot: +30 Health, +5 Armor Staff
[3rd for Ranger/any]
Armor:
I Would prefer Druid's Armor for Energy.
At first cast both spirits. - behind your traps
and EW first then QZ - Then of course setting Traps.
Some people say it's more effective if you set them on
one spot, I didn't see a difference if not.
My Trapping cycle is:
- Serpents Quickness
- Dust Trap
- Barbed Trap
- Flame Trap
- Spiked Trap
- Barbed Trap
- Dust Trap
- Flame Trap
- Spiked Trap
- Barbed Trap
- Serpents Quickness
- Flame Trap
- Dust Trap
- Spiked Trap
So after this Cycle you have set 24 Traps.
The Ranger/Monk keeps setting Traps as fast as he can,
while the other Ranger is pulling the first enemies.
Use Troll Unguent, rush in and activate Whirling Defense.
It's very important that the pulled groups don't spread.
This procedure is for Aatxes and Smites.
At the beginning Nightmare will spawn, just kill them with
your bow or your Staff.
Avoid the patroling Coldfires. If you have to kill them
set your spirits far away, and set the traps on the
path they're patroling without getting attacked.
This build works very good - already did it like this several times - with a good team. It's important for the Puller that he waits for the Ranger/Monk to regenerate his Energy, because he's trapping the whole time.
Have Fun with this UW build, I hope you'll get many Ectos
