i've got some bad/good news for you guys:i just bought the infamous WoW,and will probs mainly be playing it,So u wont be seeing me so often in Guild Wars,tho i may occasionally pop in.         in WoW,u can find my chars in the Stormreaver realm,as an tauren shaman named Ragwindhoof or Troll Warrior named Moavukaal(borrowed name )please do tell me ur WoW chars if u do have one

it's pretty much GW but in a different setting.

anyways i don't like WoW because you can't change builds all that easy and you have to pay for that. I like the fiddling with skills over and over and over and over again..

GW = no subscrïption.
WoW = spending money on a game that you could be spending on... well... I spend my money on food and beer, but...

I'm not saying that WoW is a waste of money - but Guild Wars is definitely not a waste of money. I've spent less than fifty of your english pounds (well, my english pounds) on a game that has provided me with more entertainment than that money could buy me elsewhere. And might I add NO SUBscrïptION.

As is my understanding, GW2 will offer some of the things WoW does anyway, and will still have no subscrïption. As a wise man once sang "the best things in life are free".

grr... ...but how many of you people have even really tried WoW, cause it's a bit...stupid to say it's cartoony and doesn't offer more than GW if you haven't even played it? i mean....70 highest lvl, u can swim, you can jump, do more stuff with the environment, and all that great stuff, that GW doesn't offer    Gw is really good if you don't want to use all your money on gaming, but otherwise, Wow

I have seen it, and the skills and such aren't that much different. The skills are not as balanced (also because of the level cap), characters don't look as cool, and GW 2 is going to offer the same thing. At no subscrïption. ALso the HUD is kinda chaotic, imo.

And besides: i have great friends in this alliance as well outside this alliance, so i would hate to make new friends and playing a new game would mean that i play less with the people i currently play with.

But you also say that GW is worse than WoW, but Blizzard isn't as cool as Anet (anet actually listens to it's users where Blizzard is more after the money, allthough they listen also.. a bit)

More strategics instead of endless grinding. balanced PvP, better PvP (imo) better graphics, less enviromental interaction, less options ,less freedom, no mounts. Offcourse: all those idiotic servers.. sheeesh instances ftw..else you have to log out and log in to the server where your friends are. Also PvP inside PvE is not good imo. the luxon/kurzick deal is much better.

ANd i believe all those extra options mean less too me than the balanced skills, better graphics and instanced gaming..

Both are good games, but they are also different. and i started with Gw, and i'm not going to WoW just because other ppl are playing it. It is a totally different setting.. Yea i know i said GW was mostly the same as WoW or any other online game, but GW has this cool setup where WoW misses that.

didn't mean Gw is worse than WoW >.< just that they offer alot of different things. GW's one BIG bad side is, that u can't meet other players outside of outposts and towns, if your not in a group with them.

...can be differently good or bad. but your right.
allthough
good things: no waiting for respawns, more drops more challenge (to a certain extend, no pk-ing (if you hate it).
bad things: less interactivity < big thing really.. players walking by that can help in certain situations, unlimited party size- well party helping kind of stuff, no casual meet ups, no pk-ing (if you like it)

also WoW has instances so it's more mixed up yea.
..anyways, why you still come here? (not bad that you do great stuff   )

i'm visiting this page cause i want to keep contact with my loveable guildies when i am not playing GW

i was given WoW started it then stopped when my free trial ran out
i liked GW more also i think GW2 is just gonna kill WOW
if u want loads of interactive movements play oblivion even though its not online its great game
