For a little over a week now I've been having connection trouble in the evenings. My pings can be anywhere between 1,000 and 40,000 but this is not specific to Guild Wars. Web browsing slows right down and pages can take anywhere from forty seconds to fifteen minutes to load. This doesn't happen at the same time every day - some days it starts at 6pm and lasts until 9pm, today it started at around 9pm and it's almost midnight now and things aren't much improved. When I tried to contact my ISP earlier, their system was down (encouraging....)so there was nothing they could do.

Suffice to say, if I disappear mid-mission or I am not online when I have said I will be, this is likely the reason (not necessarily, I may be outside playing or at the cinema or something... but likely). I just hope it gets better soon.

Thats wierd cause you know i hav the same ISP as you and all i get is a tid bit of lag every now and then :S

Yeah, my friends who all live in a mile radius of me have the same ISP too and I've asked them if they have any problems and they don't. I think it's a very localised issue. I'm suffering "the lag" as we speak (or rather as I type).

As rose knows from frequesntly helping me my lag is far superior!!

Have you checked your computer for viruses and/or spyware, Rose? Last time I experienced that kind of lag, I had a virus on my computer, so... Might be worth checking...
