Background for Fairest Moonbow

Fairest Moonbow was not always the name this young aspiring ranger liked to use. Sierra Dormana was her birth name, a name meaning power.
As a young Elven girl, Sierra was trained in many arts of combat and magic; elementalism, melee combat, and naturism, she excelled at this. From such a young age was she able to summon spirits from the earth itself to bring harmony and protection to the small village where she lived. Her village is now a long and forgotten place, a small part of a gigantic empire that stretched for thousands of miles in every direction. The kingdom was named Polaris, after the North Star because every night, it glowed and shone high up into the heavens.
Sierra was the rightful air to the throne of Polaris, she was a princess, her mother the queen, she had never known her father but he was spoken of regularly throughout the kingdom, he was a hero, he had fought in the last war against the margonites, a war that had taken his life.
Sierra grew up an only child, a lonely child, not ever interacting with anyone outside the palace walls, no one her own age. Although she often summoned the spirits of trees around her to keep her company, they never kept her entertained for long. For years she was kept hidden away from the world, just practising and improving her naturism skills until one day, a message came from a druid that lived far into the northlands. The message was never revealed to her but sierra could sense that there was danger coming, her mother called an important meeting with all of her advisors and allies. Sierra was not allowed to attend the meeting but eavesdropped none the less, hidden safely inside a large marble vase in the conference room.
When sierra herd what was about to occur she panicked and squealed, the margonites had risen again and were returning to finish what they had started. The elves had long since depleted their army’s supplies and numbers. There was only one thing left to do according to the advisors. Sink the city. To save billions of lives this was the only thing they could do to protect their citizens, the city would be covered by a protective magical bubble and would lie in the under the ocean forever more.
Sierra immediately kicked up a ruckus and demanded that the Elven people fight for their city but she was not listened to. She was simply sent back to her room and locked in. “this is for your own good”, those were the last words she ever herd her mother say. “Im sorry mother” were the last words her mother ever herd Sierra say. Sierra packed a few of her belongings, a shoddy wooden bow, a few naturism books, and some clothes. She raised her arms and called out into the heavens “MELANDRU, I CALL YOU KNOW HELP ME IN THIS FINAL HOUR, TAKE ME TO A HAVEN, A PLACE UNLIKE ALL OTHERS, TEACH ME THE FINAL STEPS I NEED!” and she fell to the floor out of breath, she looked out of her window, there floating in mid air was the goddess Melandru, a glorious sight she was. The goddess beckoned sierra and she got up, walked towards the window and was grasped firmly by Melandru, there was a flash and then darkness.
Sierra awoke, she was in a beautiful clearing surrounded my pine trees and waterfalls. It was night now, a cloud above moved and the full moon shone down below changing the scene into a glade full of light and dancing colours. One thing stood out the most, the large golden altar in the middle of the clearing, Sierra, curiously walked towards it and stared in amazement at the diamond bow that lay out before her, a wondrous sight indeed, she picked up the bow and realised what was happening. She had left all her royalty behind, everything that had seemed to matter to her, she left the bow on the alter and walked towards a pool of water at the bottom of a cascading waterfall, she looked at herself, a young woman now, 18 to be in fact, she wrapped a hand through her long flowing golden lochs and glared at them, she never really liked that style,. She pulled a hunting knife from out of a strap on her boots and cut viciously through her hair, she watched as it fell to the floor and into the water making no sound. She stared at her new hair and wet it, pushing it over one eye. She liked her new look and was ready to start a new life, in the outside world. She would need a new name for a start, something unique. She looked over at the bow, then at her reflection, then finally up to the heavens, Fairest Moonbow was to be her new identity. One that she would keep with her forever. She picked up the bow and strapped it to her back using some fabric from a tunic.
From that day onwards, Fairest Moonbow was accepted into Master Togo’s monastery school and has completed her training under her wing, she has faced the deepest depths of the underworld, exterminated the infamous Urgoz and his minions, and eliminated the plague in Cantha along with Shiro Tigatchi, one of the most dangerous men this world will ever know, she now faces more troubles in the land of Elona where she is currently battling for the lives of millions in a race to destroy Abbadon and stop the coming of nightfall.

err... i think its good as well but umm it doesnt have much to do with Guild Wars.... so thats all im going to say

Orr is the sunken kingdom that the was lost in the cataclysm

Oh ok, well, iv only had prophecies for like,  month or even less and my memory sucks sometimes

Well i kinda agree with nightbringer.. as there are no elves in guildwars.

And Orr was a nation just like Ascalon and Krytta under attack of the charr. As a last resort Vizier Khilbron read some dark magic scroll which sank Orr to the bottom of the sea. (hence the shards of Orr dungeon when going under the sea towards teh otehr side.) Nightbringer probably means that Fairest fled from Orr with the help of Melandru towards where ever. That would be a nice story though. even if there are no elves in GW :P (the sylvari probably will be the closest things to Elves in GW2)

the only flaw would be that it is attacked by margonite's instead of Charr. It seems more to have a reference to atlantis. (same with Orr)

bah everyone is capable of writing a story. the problem is thkning of it and actualy getting to it

don't listen to them my wee baby, i think it's brilliant.  parental decendance is what it is and the most important thing to remember is that it's YOUR character.  if you wished her to come from the Cupbaord Under The Sink she can do.
